Last week, TWC held the Spring 2013 Roundtable on Civil Society and Social Responsibility. Spring interns had the opportunity to hear from a wonderful keynote speaker and 5 professionals who came from a diversity of backgrounds and represent a number of major corporations and foundations. TWC celebrated 15 years of partnership with the state of Ohio during a reception at the Athletic Club in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Since the late 1990s, the Ohio General Assembly has included Washington Center-specific scholarship support for Ohio based students in its bi-annual budget; to date, more than 1,400 students have benefited from the funding.   | View Full Article
