Tell The World I'm Coming Home

Friday, December 16, 2016

We laughed, we cried, it was better than Hamilton.   D.C. was awesome. Why was it so awesome? I’ll answer that in a few months once I’ve fully digested the experience. For now, all I can tell you is that I’m glad I did it. I repeat: I am glad that I had the opportunity to live and work in Washington D.C.

People Make the Difference

Saturday, December 03, 2016

Years from now, I’ll look out the window on a cool spring morning, a soft silk breeze will seep through the cracked bay window and caress my porcelain cheeks, and the earth will whisper… “The Washington Center.”

Fine… I’ll admit it. I am not ready for the holiday season. I’ve planned poorly. I’m broke, my credit’s bad, and I don’t know what anyone wants. What’s my solution? That’s a good question. I’m hoping to return to this blog in a few weeks to find my solution in the comments.

How to Create Your Own Blog

I know what you’re thinking: “Woe is me... how could I - a humble cube monkey - ever hope to create a successful blog?” Well, if you’re looking for answers, look no further, because I’m here to save you. My Outstanding Quarrels

Friday, October 14, 2016

Oh, majestic Washington D.C. The Cherry Blossoms, The National Mall, the museums and the monuments… Every day I bare witness to national history in the making. To live here is truly a blessing. That is… until you have to take the metro to work, or buy yourself lunch, or root for a football team, or talk to the over-gentrified elite.

Oh, so you want to be a D.C. big shot? You think you got what it takes? You want people to refer to you in their best Scarface voice like, “Come on. Make way for the bad guy. There's a bad guy comin' through! Better get outta his way!”If your answer to any of these question was yes, then you’ve come to the right place. Here is my definitive top 5 list of D.C. power moves.   1. Cross the Street Before Everybody Else

Rags to Riches in Washington, D.C.

The road from the construction zone to the C-suite is one paved with woe... But at least it's paved already, not like that construction zone.   Fine, I’m a Yuppie
