Sleep has always been something that was an instrumental part of my life. I know it sounds silly, but I even schedule my classes around it. In college I have never had a class earlier than 10:00 AM. So having to wake up at 6:45 every morning for work has been the biggest adjustment I have had to make in the big boy world. So much so that I was, unfortunately, a little under the weather this week. But don't worry, I still have a lot to write about.

"Change is good" is an expression that all of us have heard at one time or another in our lives. Change challenges us to adapt, to live in an unfamiliar environment. I'm usually not a nervous person. I've always been the type to be confident in whatever I do. That's why when I finally arrived in our nation's capital it was weird that I actually felt a sense of anxiety. I could feel it in the pit of my stomach, building and building.
