Out and About in the District

Monday, March 02, 2015

Hey All! Sorry for the large gap between posts. Even though I am at TWC, I am still writing a thesis for my home university and had a draft due Wednesday so that consumed a lot of my free time last week. Hope you didn't miss me too much! Let me catch you up on what's been happening with some highs and lows.

The Call to Serve... and Happiness

Monday, February 16, 2015

My low of the week definitely deals with #metroproblems again. After work on Thursday, I was excited to get home and relax. My work week was over and I couldn't wait to sit around and sleep in a bit the next day. However, when I got to Farragut North metro station, I noticed it was more crowded than usual. When I looked up at the schedule, there were no trains listed. I knew something must be wrong. A train came in but there were so many people waiting, I was not able to get on.

Striving for Something Greater in the DMV

Monday, February 09, 2015

It is crazy to me to think I have already been in Washington, D.C. for two weeks. It feels like I moved down here yesterday. Between the business of interning over 32 hours a week and everything else that TWC involves and the fun of making new friends, the time has been flying by. To start this week, I thought I'd give you all a quick high and low from the past week.
