Sitting on the floor of my old bedroom back home on Long Island, suitcase half unpacked, the absence of city sirens and blaring car horns, it's wild to think that just a few days ago I was saying my goodbyes to my semester in Washington, D.C.

Fall Fun in Frederick, Maryland

Monday, October 20, 2014

Autumn is my favorite season, so I was obviously super stoked when I spotted TWC's flyers promoting a trip to Maryland for a day filled with fall activities. On Saturday morning, a group of 20 or so TWC students boarded a bus to Frederick, Maryland, a historic town located about an hour away from DC. The trip was chaperoned by some of the alumni-in-residence, who were filled with tips on things to do once we arrived.   >>Frederick, Maryland

Canvas Crawls

Monday, October 06, 2014

So this Friday I finally uncovered D.C.'s thriving art scene that has been buried beneath briefcases and blazers until now. I'm no seasoned art collector nor am I an art history major or anything, but as a self-proclaimed art enthusiast I can always appreciate some fine art.
