Monday, May 05, 2014

"A father's love, a wedding dance, New Year's dreams, a toast with friends, a soldier coming home from war, the faith the hope of so much more, a brand new life, a mother's prayer, shooting stars, ocean air, a lover's kiss, and hard goodbyes, fireworks, Christmas lights, These are the things that make us feel alive These are the times that make us realize...

"In the Spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours." -Mark Twain   View of the Washington Monument from the Lincoln Memorial

"Having thus chosen our course, without guile and with pure purpose, let us renew our trust in God, and go forward without fear and with manly hearts." -Abraham Lincoln   Washington Monument Shrouded in Fog

A special thanks must be given to all the international students who paid out of pocket for the food they shared with us.

The weather continued its fickle attitude this weekend, going from 65 degrees to snow in a span of 24 hours. Once again however, the weekend was enjoyed despite the weather fluctuations.   Wizards vs. Nets

Past, Present, Future

Sunday, March 09, 2014

The fight for supremacy between winter and spring continued as D.C. enjoyed another shutdown from the weather, but also once again reached temperatures of 60 degrees. Despite the continued weather fluctuations, my D.C. experience continues unabated.   Monday snow
