Honors Scholarships

Students interested in any of the Honors Scholarships should submit their application by the Competitive Deadline.  In the Competitive Awards section of the application, students must indicate interest in applying for any of these awards.

• Association of College Honor Societies Scholarship (ACHS) (pdf)
  Provides $1,000 housing scholarship to students in national honor societies that are members of the Association of College Honor Societies (www.achsnatl.org). Three scholarships per society are awarded each year.  Applicants must submit documentation verifying membership.  Examples include a copy of a membership certificate or letter from the local chapter or national office or an email from the local chapter representative.  Postgraduate Program participants are eligible to apply. Priority consideration is given to students who apply by competitive deadline.
  
  
• Golden Key International Honour Society Award: Provides $1,000 housing scholarship to students who are members of the Golden Key International Honour Society (www.goldenkey.org). Up to three scholarships will be awarded each year. Applicants must submit documentation verifying membership.  Postgraduate Program participants are eligible to apply. Priority consideration is given to students who apply by competitive deadline.
  
  
• National Collegiate Honors Council Scholarship
  Provides $2,000 housing scholarship to students who are in honors programs or colleges that are members of the National Collegiate Honors Council (www.nchchonors.org). Eighteen scholarships are awarded each year.  Applicants must submit a nomination from their honors director or dean and a one-page statement describing their contributions to their honors program or college.Priority consideration is given to students who apply by competitive deadline.
  
  
• Pi Sigma Alpha Washington Internship Scholarship
  Provides a $2,500 housing scholarship for at least one student chosen by Pi Sigma Alpha, the political science honor society, for its Washington Internship Scholarship award.  Students apply directly to Pi Sigma Alpha for this scholarship by April 15th.  For an application form and more information, Click Here
