Washington, the man and the place, represents the outcomes we seek to foster in our students: civic engagement, leadership and professional achievement. Our symbol is more than a portrait of a legendary leader. In its larger renderings, the “Washington mosaic” represents the idea of a union. It reminds us that enduring achievements are the result of leadership that binds together diverse individuals in uncommon purpose.
