Massanutten Resort In Virginia

Come join us for a day trip to the region’s best slopes at Massanutten Resort. Bus departs at 7:00 am from the RAF. Meeting place will be the RAF top parking lot. Bus will return at approximately 10:00 pm. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, January 24. Cash or check only is accepted. Space is limited! Total Cost is $85 which includes bus, lift pass and rentals (either ski’s, boots, and polls for skiers or snowboard and boots for boarders.) If you are bringing your own equipment cost is $65. Voluntary lessons are available at the mountain for $18. Deadline to sign-up is Saturday, February 11.

Please note that accessories outside of the essentials are NOT provided i.e., gloves, snow pants, jackets, goggles, hat and helmet. *There is a shop at the resort where you can purchase these items. However, it is advisable to try and acquire them beforehand as they will be expensive at the lodge. There is also snow tubing and ice skating at Massanutten. Please note that the availability of these activities depends on how busy the mountain is any given day and costs an additional fee.

Rules For The Purchase Of Tickets

1. You must be a currently enrolled Washington Center intern with a TWC ID Card.

2. You can ONLY purchase one ticket per your TWC ID.

3. You must pay for the ticket at the point of purchase; there will be NO reserving tickets.

4. You must take the provided bus as transportation to and from the event.

5. Participants of Weekend Getaways voluntarily assume all risks and danger incidental to any adventure for which a ticket

is issued whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual weekend adventure.

6. Events may change without notice or liability.

7. Participants agree that a Washington Center administrator or designee may refuse or expel any person whose conduct is objectionable.

8. Tickets for Weekend Getaways are non-refundable and/or non-transferable.

9. Possession, consumption of, or arriving under the influence of alcohol/illegal substances is not allowed while participating in Weekend Getaways.
