Republican National Convention: Academic Seminar

This two-week course examines the role of national political conventions in the process of nominating and electing a party’s candidates for president and vice president of the United States. The course takes place on-site at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. This special academic seminar places students in volunteer fieldwork positions with the party, convention committee, host committee, media, and many other convention related organizations and events.

 

This two-week on-site offering is held the week before and week of the Republican National Convention, July 10-22, 2016.
