In an effort to reduce waste and encourage energy conscious living, an apartment-by-apartment electricity consumption competition will be conducted throughout RAF.  Electrical usage data will be taken by RA Michael Shell and analyzed to rank your apartment from "Least Energy Intensive" to "Most Energy Intensive" on a bi-weekly basis. The ranks will be divided into quartiles, and corresponding stickers will be placed by apartment doors to notify you of your apartment’s status.

  • Green Sticker - Least Energy Intensive
  • Blue Sticker - Moderately Low Energy Intensity
  • Yellow Sticker - Moderately High Energy Intensity
  • Red Sticker - Most Energy Intensive

Monthly raffles will be held with the least energy intensive apartment receiving Harris Teeter gift certificate prizes. So turn off those lights, turn down that air, and conserve! Please contact RA Michael Shell with any questions (Michael.Shell@twc.edu).
