Programs by Country
The Washington Center has built relationships with institutions or government agencies in many countries. These relationships create a smooth pathway to interning in the U.S. Students from these countries are encouraged to speak with their school representatives about coming to Washington, D.C., and interning through TWC.
Students from non-affiliated universities may also apply.
Canada
Since 1996, over 400 students from post-secondary institutions across Canada have participated in our program, and TWC has established affiliations with more than 30 colleges and universities from Alberta, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario and Saskatchewan. Canadian students may be eligible for a number of provincial scholarships to participate in The Washington Center’s programs.
