Newt Minow is the Former Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, an independent agency of the U.S. government established in 1934 to regulate telecommunications. Minow talked about the evolution and role of debates in the political process, and how they are affected by the quickly changing landscape of the media.
About the Road to the White House Course
TWC students have a unique opportunity to participate in an innovative course titled, “Road to the White House. Taught by Steve Scully, senior executive producer at C-SPAN and former president of the White House Correspondents Association, the course brings to the classroom via television the top experts in political campaigns, media, public policy, and public affairs. The class airs on C-SPAN radio and C-SPAN III [2]every Friday afternoon.
