TWC's InternsROCK! was featured in "D.C. businesses to offer discounts to interns," [1] an online Washington Business Journal article by Adriana Scott. The article features TWC's President, Mike Smith, who discussed 'the thousands of hardworking interns' that the initiative has targeted since its launch in 2010.

The article also quoted Maurice Holmes, owner of Adams Morgan cupcakery Sweet Themez and Cupcake, and Victoria Burkhardt, manager of Downtown Dupont's smoothie and yogurt shop Yola. Sweet Themez and Cupcake as well as Yola both participated in InternsROCK! 2012.
