The Prudential Foundation Global Citizens Program, a cohort of 26 international students from India, Japan, Korea and Taiwan, attended a two-day site visit from April 19-20 at Prudential Financial headquarters in Newark, New Jersey.
The students were competitively selected for this program to represent their countries. They had the opportunity to meet with and learn from a number of Prudential executives during their trip including:
- John Strangfeld, chairman and CEO, Prudential Financial
- Sharon C. Taylor, senior vice president, Human Resources, chair of The Prudential Foundation
- Christopher Cooper, chairman and CEO of International Investments
- Ebony A. Thomas, director of Campus Recruiting
- Edward P. Baird, executive vice president, International Businesses
- John Praveen, managing director and chief investment strategist, Prudential International Investments Advisers
- Manoj Rengarajan, vice president, Investment Management
- Marietta Cozzi, vice president, Staffing
- Rene O. Deida, senior program director, Community Resources
- Stanford Kutler, managing director, Product Development
- Timothy E. Feige, senior vice president, International Insurance Group Executive
In addition, the students participated in mock interviews with Prudential employees, toured Prudential’s trading room floor and learned about Prudential’s commitment to the community around the globe.
