The President’s Lecture Series is part of The Washington Center’s Leadership Forum – a set of activities that enriches students’ experience by helping them understand leadership and the opportunities they have to contribute to their community locally, nationally and internationally.  Students have the opportunity to hear and engage with speakers, are introduced to public policy debates and gain access to the people who shape them.

Guest Speaker: German Ambassador to the United States Klaus SchariothThe German Ambassador to the United States, Klaus Scharioth is the guest speaker.  Among the topics that the Ambassador will cover are his definition of diplomacy; Germany’s relationship with the US and other countries on the 20th anniversary of Germany’s unity; and where does the Ambassador see the US and Europe 20 years from now.
