Student Testimonials
The Washington Center provides invaluable opportunities for leadership development and civic engagement, both through the internship and academic course. The President’s Lecture Series* and other program events allow The Washington Center interns to interact with one another and make both personal and professional connections.

The Washington Center has instilled leadership and civic engagement through my internship and academic experience by offering very few opportunities for us as individuals; rather, we must be ready to engage ourselves. Our advisors are there to help, but we must seek them out. Our internships are interesting, but only if we pursue our opportunities to take on challenges. A vast network lies at our fingertips, but we need to be the ones to become part of it.
