There was plenty of great food, great music and an even better alumni family at the 2015 Alumni Holiday Party in downtown Washington, D.C. on Dec. 10.

More than 100 alumni and guests, including this year’s 40 & Forward Alumni Award winners, travelled form near and abroad to celebrate another strong year for the TWC alumni community. Following dinner, drinks and music, TWC raffled off 25 prizes to some of D.C’s trendiest food spots and attractions.

Mohammed Ibrahim ’07 was among the guests who plans to serve TWC as a 2016 alumni volunteer. Just a few years ago Ibrahim was a law and criminal justice intern on his way to a post at the American Council on Education. Ibrahim said it’s good to be back in the TWC community doing what he loves – helping others connect the dots in their young careers and encouraging people to take on new opportunities.

"It was refreshing to catch up with the fellow alums and reconnect with some old friends. I'm appreciative for the opportunity to give back to TWC - a program that invested heavily in me and my future,” said Ibrahim.

TWC thanks the many organizations who sponsored the 2015 Alumni Holiday Party and raffle, including: Microsoft, Southwest Airlines, Barrel Oak Winery, Old Ebbitt Grill/Clyde’s, Potomac Riverboat Company, &Pizza, The Fillmore, Burger Tap & Shake, Cava Grill, Capital Bike Share, Front Page D.C, General Assembly, Barcelona Wine Bar and the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.
