TWC celebrated its 15-year partnership with the State of Massachusetts on Tuesday, March 18th, at the historic Omni Parker House Hotel in downtown Boston. More than 60 guests attended the reception, including TWC liaisons from public and private universities, members of the state legislature and TWC alumni.

Three key speakers included:

  • Richard Moore, State Senator, President Pro Temp
  • Michael Moore, State Senator, Chair of the Joint Committee on Higher Education
  • Kristin Wilczynski, TWC Alumna

Wilczynski is a 2002 TWC alum who completed TWC’s internship during her senior year at Worcester State University. She spoke about the program’s impact on her life and career, sharing how she truly believed she would not be where she is today without that experience.

The event was a recognition of TWC’s partnership with Massachusetts, which makes it possible for state residents and students enrolled at public universities to receive state-funded scholarships to complete the program. Since 1998, the scholarship program has been important for TWC’s ability to enroll students from all institutions in Massachusetts, public and private.
