When we launched our TWCLUV contest to celebrate alumni couples who found romance at The Washington Center, we knew we'd get some creative responses. But an entry set to the rhythm of the theme song to "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air?" That was a welcome surprise! The entry from 2013 alumni J.D. Moore and Mary Muller was too fun to keep to ourselves. Here's the couple's poem, which will probably bring many of you down memory lane.

Now, this is a story all about how

J.D.'s and Mary's lives got turned upside down

Now just take a minute and sit down son

We'll tell you how we fell in love in Washington.

In Fort Worth, Texas, educated and raised

TCU's campus was where they spent most of their days

Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool

Reppin' the Frogs at Bob Schieffer's school

When a couple of teachers said it'd be good

Sending up these kids to NoMa's neighborhood

J.D. made a move, and even though he was scared

He said, "How about a tour of the monuments, and we'll go from there?"

We heard D.C. was prissy, bourgeois, all that

But was this the type of place to find a new romance at?

If you don't think so, just ask Mary how they rolled

After their dinner over Ben's Chili Bowl.

J.D. requested an Uber and when it came near

The license plate said "Presh" and had dice in the mirror

If anything, they could say that this cab was fleek

But thought, "Nah, forget it - Yo, back to 3rd Street NE."

They pulled up to the RAF about 7 or 8

And J.D. yelled to the Uber, "Yo homes, pay you later!"

They looked at their kingdom, they were finally there

To work in D.C. as one loving pair.
