Prudential Financial Executives Officially Welcome Program Participants

Prudential’s Washington D.C. office formally welcomed another cohort of Prudential Foundation Global Citizens scholars from India, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan on February 13, 2012. Prudential executives spoke about their experiences with the company and the partnership that Prudential Foundation has created with The Washington Center over the past three years. The students heard from:

 

  • Christopher Cooper, Chairman and CEO of International Investments, who oversees the company's investment management operations outside of the United States
  • Rex Wackerle, Vice President of Government Relations and Director of External Affairs
  • Rene Deida, Senior Program Director of Community Resources, who assists in the development of projects and initiatives that integrate philanthropy into Prudential's business
  • Ebony Thomas, Director of Campus and Diversity Recruiting, who will welcome students during their trip to Prudential’s headquarters in Newark, New Jersey in April
After the speeches, the Prudential fellows were given the opportunity to mingle with the executives and network.
