Perspectives on International Trade Panel
The Political Leadership, Law and Criminal Justice and International Affairs Programs hosted "Perspectives on International Trade," a panel which exposed TWC's summer interns to career paths in subject areas like International Economics, International Trade, Finance and International Relations. The event took place at the Blinken Auditorium and provided each attendee with the opportunity to gain insight on a diversity of positions, which the panelists either hold currently or in the past.
Panelists
- Manuel A. Rosales, Former Assistant Administrator for the Office of International Trade with the U.S. Small Business Administration
- Peter Bowman, International Economist at the International Trade Administration Division of the U.S. Department of Commerce
- Jose Raul Perales, Director of the Americas Division with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of the Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America (AACCLA)
This was a great opportunity for TWC's interns, who were able to learn firsthand about the variety of international opportunities that exist outside of the classroom.
