Governors Students Briefed on Cyber Security at Microsoft

Mexican students from The Washington Center’s Governors program met with select members of Microsoft’s Innovation and Policy team at a cyber security briefing on Friday, Nov.6. This is the first installment of "TWC Day" at Microsoft, a recurring monthly workshop for students in a range of TWC’s LEAD Professional tracks.


The Microsoft team presented a live cyber security demo, outlining steps the company has taken to lead the way in deterring global cybercrime. Chris Krebs

director of cybersecurity policy and strategy and Matthew Reisman, director of international trade at Microsoft gave an overview of what the future of cybercrime looks like, as well as steps tech users can take to protect themselves and the organizations they will work for.
