European Students Visit EU Delegation to the US

On March 27th, eight TWC students from European Union member countries visited the EU Delegation to the United States to meet William Burros, senior political adviser, to learn more about public policy. The students, who hail from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, met Mr. Burros and learned more about the EU Delegation's role here in Washington and how the Delegation meets with policymakers to advance EU interests. The students also came prepared with lots of questions, and discussed topics such as trade policy, EU political issues, US / EU relations in the era of Trump, NATO issues and military cooperation, and the departure of Britain from the EU.
