The spring semester ConnectTWC event, a networking reception held each semester, proved to be a beneficial experience for all who attended. Current students of our Washington, D.C. Internship Program seized the opportunity to interact and build relationships with our diverse and talented alumni, in addition to other professionals based in the D.C. area. Great food, fellowship and future possibilities greeted all who attended the reception.

This particular event enabled more than 80 TWC students to develop professional connections, as well as solicit invaluable career advice from those who were once in their shoes. Future, current and rising professionals mingled and conversed while simultaneously learning about each other’s aspirations and career paths. ConnectTWC attendees came from a background of fields, ranging from finance to politics and education.

In so many ways, TWC alumni continue to be a pillar of support for students and for each other. For more information on upcoming alumni events, email the Alumni Office at and check out TWC's Alumni Facebook Page and LinkedIn group. In addition to hosting events celebrating our 50,000 alumni throughout the year, TWC encourages all former students to learn more about Alumni Regional Committees (ARCs) in their area!
