A national award for leading the charge to enrich the lives of others will soon adorn the hallways of one of the country’s most historic colleges. The president of The Citadel led a group from the college’s Krause School for Leadership and Ethics to an awards luncheon Monday in Washington, D.C., to accept The Washington Center 2013 Higher Education Civic Engagement Award. The award is sponsored by the New York Life Foundation.
