Center for American Progress Fellow Lawrence Korb Speaks at SMLS

Lawrence J. Korb, Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress, spoke to TWC summer interns during the first SMLS of the term. In addition to his role at the Center for American Progress, Mr. Korb also serves as the senior advisor to the Center for Defense Information, is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University and has authored, co-authored and contributed to more than 20 books and 100 articles on various topics regarding national security issues.

 

During the SMLS, Mr. Korb discussed:

 

  • Foreign affairs
  • The current state of affairs in Syria, Libya and Iraq
  • The role that America plays in International Affairs

After the discussion, Mr. Korb took questions from students regarding his past and present positions as well as his perspective on national security issues both domestically and abroad.
