Alumni from the DC Metro area came together for a fun evening of networking at Buffalo Billiards. The Capital Alumni Regional Community, led by Glenn Alpert, TWC alumnus ('09, '10), and Katherine Kerchner, TWC alumna ('11), organized the event in an effort to re-connect with alumni in the District. Both Kate and Glenn think that it's “incredible that so many of us have stayed in D.C. or moved here shortly after the TWC program—why not bring everybody out and get to know each other as TWC alumni?”

Over 40 alumni from a variety of years, backgrounds and interests attended the networker. They enjoyed delicious food, great conversations and exciting raffle prizes! Two alumni won tickets to concerts at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD while a few others bagged cool TWC gear.

Doing this again and often was a recurring theme of the night; so stay tuned for announcements about upcoming activities.
