Rep. Joe Heck (NV-R) hosted TWC intern and Ball State University student Jacqueline Vokoun in his Cannon House Office Building suite on Tuesday, April 9th. Rep. Heck, who represents the 3rd district of Nevada, spoke with Jacqueline on issues like tourism, education costs, and the Violence Against Women Act. Rep. Heck was very personable and spoke candidly. After a half an hour of solid discussion, Jacqueline took photos with the Congressman. Her visit even earned a mention and a photo on Rep. Heck's Twitter account!

Jacqueline had this to say about the meeting: "After my meeting with Congressman Heck, in which I learned about his views and proposed legislation that will benefit tourism in Las Vegas directly, I walked away feeling like he truly is in Congress to represent my district and gained huge respect for him on a personal and professional level."
