2012 Summer Career Panel for Law and Graduate Students
The Washington Center hosted a Summer Career Panel for Law and Graduate Students for the Summer Transporation Internship Program for Diverse Groups (STIPDG) and the TWC-Elon University School of Law Externship Program. The students gained additional insight on topics like networking, career paths in the federal government and the unique application process to obtain a job in the federal government.
Panelists included several TWC alumni:
- Taylor Lochrane, TWC STIPDG alumnus ('10) and Civil Engineer at Turner-Fairbank Highway Rescue Center
- Cyrus Mehri, TWC alumnus (’81) and Partner at Mehri & Skalet, PLLC
- Stephen Wermiel, Law Professor at American University’s Washington School of Law and Former Journalist
- William Wind, TWC alumnus (‘90) and Secret Service Emphasis Program Manager
The panel was moderated by Courtney Dredden, TWC Program Advisor for STIPDG and the TWC-Elon University School of Law Externship Program.
