Application Deadlines Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but for the best possible consideration by internship sites you are encouraged to apply as early as possible. In some cases, internships sites, especially federal agencies that need to issue security clearances, have early internal deadlines or additional application requirements that necessitate applying to The Washington Center in the early deadline range.

Each term also has a suggested early deadline, a competitive deadline and a regular deadline. Those applying by the competitive deadline receive priority consideration for some private scholarships and first access to internship sites. Though TWC is able to consider late applicants, students are urged to apply on time so that their access to the full range of financial assistance and internship opportunities is not limited.
