About Me:

I was born in Toronto, Canada to Trinidadian parents of Indian descent. When I was two, I moved to Trinidad for two years. After those two years I moved to New York. Having moved a lot has given a passion for traveling and learning about other cultures.

Why did you apply to this program?

I applied to this program because of my involvement with Model United Nations.

Please identify one UN Millennium Goal in which you are most interested:

The UN Millennium Goal that I am most interested in is the goal number eight which is developing a global partnership for development. I believe that a global partnership is necessary in order to evoke change that will benefit everyone.

What are your top professional goals? What do you want to accomplish during your internship?

What I will like to accomplish during my internship is to gain working experience that will be beneficial for me in the accomplishing my goals, which is to ultimately work for the United Nations or an NGO.

How will this program help you and your country in the future?

This program will help me and my country in the future because it brings together students from around the world to foster global partnerships.
