Both the Political Leadership and Córdova Congressional Program interns attended this event and were exposed to different opportunities in the policy and lobbying fields.

 

Command Sergeant Major Provides Special Veterans Day Presentation

Public Policy Panel Discusses What It Takes To Be A D.C. Lobbyist

The Political Leadership Program welcomed a distinguished panel of D.C. lobbyists and policy-makers working in the Washington, D.C. area. The panelists openly discussed and answered questions which helped address the common myths, stereotypes, challenges and benefits that lobbyists and policy-makers face on a day-to-day basis.

 

Perspectives on International Trade Panel

The Political Leadership, Law and Criminal Justice and International Affairs Programs hosted "Perspectives on International Trade," a panel which exposed TWC's summer interns to career paths in subject areas like International Economics, International Trade, Finance and International Relations. The event took place at the Blinken Auditorium and provided each attendee with the opportunity to gain insight on a diversity of positions, which the panelists either hold currently or in the past.
