The Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator Workshop

 

What type of leader are you? How do you communicate in teams? What are your strengths? How can you work with different personalities at work? Find out by taking the Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator Assessment, the most widely used personality assessment in the world. Myers Briggs is used by the federal government, most top Fortune 100 companies and many non-profit organizations.

 

To register for a workshop at the RAF, you must take the Myers Briggs Assessment at the Concierge Desk. The assessment is available weekdays until 11pm through Wednesday, July 11th.

 

If you will be attending a workshop at Braddock or Residences at Congressional Village, you can take the assessment before the workshops in those locations.

 

Assessments take about 20 minutes and you will receive your results at the workshop you indicate on the answer sheet.

Lunch Series Guest: John Orlando

Senior Vice President, Washington, CBS Corporation

John Orlando rejoined the new CBS Corporation in January 2006. He is responsible for oversight, formulation, and implementation of CBS’s public policy and government relations’ objectives. As CBS’s lead lobbyist, Orlando is the company’s principal contact with the Congress and Administration.

 

Prior to returning to CBS, John was Executive Vice President, Government Relations, for the National Association of Broadcasters. He managed NAB’s government relations’ staff and was responsible for developing and directing the association’s public policy and government relations’ strategies.

 

Before moving to the NAB, John was Vice President of CBS’s Washington, D.C. office. In this role, John was responsible for all aspects of CBS’s day-to-day government relations.

 

Previously, John was Vice President of Timmons & Company, one of Washington’s leading lobbying firms.

 

From 1989 to 1993, John was Chief of Staff for the House Energy and Commerce Committee. In addition to managing the Energy and Commerce Committee staff, John was responsible for directing Chairman Dingell’s personal Congressional office and Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.

 

Before joining the House Energy and Commerce Committee, John worked for Congressman Dingell during which time he managed Dingell’s Congressional staff in Washington, D.C. and Michigan. He came to Capitol Hill after working at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in various capacities.

 

John is a graduate of San Diego State University. He and his wife, Tracy, have four children and live in Bethesda, Maryland.
