Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen addressed a group of approximately 160 student and faculty participants in The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars WASHINGTON – January 6, 2009

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen addressed a group of approximately 160 student and faculty participants in The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars’ (TWC) Inside Washington 2010 Academic Seminar. Admiral Mullen spoke about the U.S. Military’s ever evolving and adapting role in National Security. The program, held at George Washington University, also included a question and answer session for students.

“This program offers unprecedented access to world leaders like Admiral Mullen,” said Mike Smith, president of The Washington Center. “Our students left this engagement with a greater understanding of how issues are dealt with on a national and global perspective.”

After the event, Admiral Mullen posted the following on his official Twitter Account:

"Some smart questions this morning from students @ the Washington Center. Future in good hands.”
